Smart Assistant


💡This article will introduce the details of Smart Assistant rule creation, rule management, and rule review system to show you how to fully utilize the Smart Assistant for 24/7 AI intelligent monitoring and easily achieve automated advertising management.

I. Create Rule

1. Click on "Create Rule"

💡 Select "Smart Assistant" and click on "Create Rule" to enter the rule creation page.


2. Select the existing template after filtering "channels" and "objects" to enable monitoring

💡 Supported monitoring channels: Facebook, Google, TikTok


3. Set Conditions

💡 Set conditions for the monitoring object. In the "Filter" and "Filter by Metrics" sections, you can combine delivery and MMP data to set rules based on data such as ROAS, LTV, retention, etc. Each metric can be individually set with a time range to specify the scope of the rule. When all conditions in the metric group are met, the rule will be triggered and actions will be executed.

4. Set Actions to Execute

💡 After the rule is triggered, the Smart Assistant supports four types of actions:

5. Set Schedule

💡 Support customizing the schedule of theSmart Assistant rule. You can customize or adjust Frequency of the rule according to your delivery habits and needs to achieve better advertising effectiveness.

Choose your Time zone

Select Time Range: Continuously/Custom

Set Frequency: choose Hourly/Daily/Weekly/Custom run at the ___

II. Rule Management

1. Log, Edit, Copy, Delete Rules
  • Log: Click "Log" to  view the objects that trigger this rule and their operation results within the specified time.
  • Edit: Click "Edit" to modify the current rule.
  • Copy: Click "Copy" to quickly duplicate a new rule.
  • Delete: Click "Delete" to delete the current rule.



2. View Execute Record of Rules: Tools -> Task Center -> AI Execute Record

💡 You can view the Execute Records of AI rules to understand the specific information of each rule, such as Data Detail, Result Info, Action Time ect.

3. View and Operate All Rules within the Team: Tools -> Task Center -> AI Execute Record

💡 Administrative personnel (Admin/ Media Buy Manager) can efficiently manage rules within the team by filtering and viewing them, allowing for swift operations such as editing, copying, deleting, enabling/disabling, and more. This streamlined process saves time and effort, eliminating the need to handle each rule individually

III. AI Rule Review

💡 To ensure the integrity of users' advertising strategies and mitigate potential errors and risks, we have implemented an AI rule review system in Smart Assistant. Only rules that have successfully passed the review will be executed by the Smart Assistant service, guaranteeing the effective implementation of the rules.

IV. AI Rule Number Limits

💡To ensure efficiency and stability, we have set limits on the number of AI rules.

Please be mindful of the rule quantity limit and appropriately manage and configure the number of rules based on your needs and optimization strategies to maximize the effectiveness of the Smart Assistant

1. How to view current rule quantity and the quantity limit:  Smart Assistant

*After reaching the maximum, you cannot create or copy additional rules. Please contact your operations manager for expansion.

V. Use Cases

Automatically Pause Low ROAS Ad Sets

Select "Channels": Meta

Select "Objects": Ad Sets

Select "Currency": USD

• Set "Filter by Metrics": Cost > 100 + ROAS 0 < 20%

• Set "Actions": ① Send Notification -> Email ② Status -> OFF

• Set "Schedule": Daily run at 8:00, 18:00, 00:00

💡Under this rule, during the three time periods each day, the Smart Assistant will monitor the performance of the specified Facebook ad groups. When cost is more than 100 USD and ROAS is less than 20%, you will receive an email notification, and the Ad group will be automatically paused.

Automatically Monitor Budget

Select "Channels": Meta

Select "Objects": Ad Sets

Select "Currency": USD

Set "Filter by Metrics": Cost > = 500

Set "Actions": ① Send Notification -> Email ② Status -> OFF

Set "Schedule": Daily run at 8:00, 18:00, 00:00

💡Under this rule, the AI assistant will check the spending of the specified Facebook ad group during three designated time periods each day. If the ad group's budget is 500 USD, and the spending is greater than or equal to 500 USD, the budget will be exhausted. You will receive an email notification, and the ad group will be paused.

③  Insufficient Balance Alert

Select "Channels": Google

Select "Objects": Accounts

Select "Currency": USD

Set up "Filter by Metrics": Remaining Budget < 100

•Set up "Actions": ① Send Notification -> Email

•Set up "Schedule": Daily run at 8:00, 18:00, 00:00

💡 Under this rule, the Smart Assistant will monitor the remaining budget of the specified Google Ad account during the designated time slots of every day. If the remaining budget falls below 100 USD, you will receive an email notification.

④ Exclude Low-quality Creatives

AdsPolar supports monitoring the data of ad creatives and provides timely notifications to media buyers when customized conditions show anomalies, as well as the ability to automatically delete creatives.

Select "Channels": TikTok

Select "Objects": Ad + Creative

Select  "Template": Ad Stop-loss

·Set up "Creative":Set the threshold for clicks

•Set up "Conditions":Click < specific value

•Set up "Actions":① Send notification -> Email/DingTalk ② Add action -> Status -> Delete

•Set up "Execution Frequency":Every half hour

💡Under this rule, the AI assistant will check the total number of clicks for the specified creative every half hour. When the total clicks for the product are below the set threshold, you will receive notifications via email or DingTalk, and the creative will be automatically deleted.

⑤ Monitor Invalid Accounts

AdsPolar supports monitoring the authorization status of ad accounts and provides timely notifications to media buyers when custom key metrics show anomalies.

•Select "Channels": Summary
•Select "Objects": Accounts
•Select "Template": Notification of Account Authorisation Expiry

• Set up "Auth Status": Set the Auth Status (including 'Authorized', 'Auth Invalid', 'Unbind')
• Set up "Actions": Send notification -> Email/DingTalk
• Set up "Check Frequency": Every half hour

💡Under this rule, the Smart Assistant will check the authorisation status of the specified ad account every half hour. When the ad account's authorization status matches the selected conditions, you will receive notifications via email or DingTalk.

⑥ Automatically Close Fraudulent Ads

•Select "Channels":Meta

•Select "Objects":Campaigns

•Select "Template": Advertisement Security

· Create "Rule": The Objective of the Campaigns does not belong to "Sales"

Set up "Actions": Send notification -> Email/DingTalk ② Add action -> Status -> Set to OFF

• Set up "Check Frequency": Every 15 Mins

💡Under this rule, the Smart Assistant will check every 15 minutes for any ad campaigns that do not have an app promotion objective. If such campaigns are found, they will be automatically closed, and you will receive notifications via email or DingTalk.
